Ethical Standards

Our kindness and compassion doesn't stop at animals. We have a deep compassion for people too. That's why we are part of the Fashion Revolution. A global movement working for a more sustainable fashion industry. We love fashion. But we don't want our clothes to exploit people or destroy our planet.

In The Soulshine garments are manufactured in a small production house in Bali, Indonesia. The production house is spacious, clean and bright in natural lighting. Employees are paid on a per-piece basis which gives them the opportunity for increased pay of up to 40% above the minimum wage.

We've built a strong personal relationship with the owner of our production house to ensure our ethical standard is continuing to be met. Our office is near by so we regularly check in with the employees to speak to them in person so we can be confident that our ethical practices are being maintained. This is also a great opportunity to thank them for all their amazing work.

Each day employees are provided a free lunch of their favorite local rice dish, nasi campur.

Eco-friendly & Cruelty-Free

We love Mother Earth so we do our best to protect her. Our T-shirt are made from organic cotton certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). We have plastic-free packaging and ship your order in biodegradable bags.

We have recently released our exciting new 'plant dye' range, dyed naturally using only plant-derived dyes from flowers, fruits and leaves. This is part our commitment to reduce and eliminate all harmful chemicals from our products in the form of synthetic dyes and pesticides. We feel it is our responsibility to move towards becoming more conscious of the health of our oceans, rivers and streams which are already overly polluted by garment factories and other industries.

We continue to improve and search for ways that reduces our impact on the planet. Our clothing is vegan and cruelty-free.
